There have been lot's a posts lately about which type of kayak is best, SINK or SOT. This is a survey of TFF yakkers asking one question: if you fish from a kayak, what type do you use? I'm pretty sure the SOTs are the majority, but I'm curious about how big that majority really is. Let's not debate the merits of either because that's been sufficiently covered. Just answer the question. I will keep score here...starting with me. I use a SOT. What say you?

PS: SINK guys/gals: please chime in and represent. I want an accurate survey, not a super-majority.
PSS: One vote per poster, so make it your primary fishing yak; and I'm not counting your entire fleet or yaks belonging to your wives, kids, girlfriends, neighbors, cousins, dogs, etc.

Results (as of 4/18/11 1:56 PM):
Sit inside: 6
Sit on top: 31
Hybrid: 4

SINK: 0
SOT: 2

If I ever manage to get a second boat, it'll be a Commander/Ultimate, which is really a SINK...

I use a SOT.But in all fairness, I have never sat in a sink.

I don't always catch fish, but when I do, I prefer Dos Hybrids

What no vote for hybrid? Ultimate is classified as a hybrid but I would call it more of a SOT

I've owned 4 kayaks now down to two, but all have been SOT.

Just one more cast!

2 SOTs for me. Wifey and daughter have SINKs. I certainly would not rule out a SINK for fishing. Just depends on what I wanted to use it for. I think it would be a hoot to go chase birds in a 17 ft super sleek touring rig with a single rod mount on the foredeck.

No worries if you're out numbered, Jimbo. We want an accurate count. Thx.
