Going to be in Dallas for a bowling tournament this weekend and I'm looking to do a little fishing. A buddy of mine was talking about ray hubbard? I want a lake with some vegetation to fish. Would this fit the bill? Any tips would be great.

We would all like some lakes around DFW with vegetation.

None of the DFW lakes have any vegetation.
How far are you willing to drive to go fishing?

Lake Alvarado 20 minutes south of FW has lots of good structure, especially if you like to flip reeds and fish docks. Good size fish too. Water level isn't too bad and water clarity is lightly stained. (Lake's not bad in the high winds either)

I saw a guy dumpping bags of leaves in Hubbard a few weeks ago, closest I have seen to "vegitation"

Metroplex lakes are rocks and docks, go to Fork if you have the time, its fishing pretty good

Raybob has the most "vegetation" of the DFW lakes...it gets messy in the wind though so be careful out there
