What time do you think the fish frying will take place. I can make BPS, but may have some plans for later.

We will usually hang out at the big buck for an hour or two.. which would put us at the fish fry around 5-6pm.

WEll, it looks like we only have one maybe two takers on the fish fry.. For some of you guys that had some questions as to basic tuna stuff, Mcgolfer,Txseadog,Ragman(Tom Titus) and others will be there to share different techniques used for Rigging, jigging, knots and splicing loops in spectra etc. If you cant make the fish fry, try and make it to BPS.

Guys, I would have loved to attend, but it's parents' weekend at A&M and I gotta put my little Aggie Freshman daughter ahead of you all. I guess I'll just learn to tie knots on the internet...

Is the meeting still happening or everyone going to
the races ? I would like to meet you guys.
I am a newbie as far as tuna go. 90 % of my saltwater fishing has been inshore. I've caught
blackfin and schoolie yft , but nothing of any
size. My biggest reel is a TDL25 and no one
has mentioned this model in all our discussions,
so I will be spending $$$$$$$$ over the next
few months to gear up.
thanks

Yeah Mo, we are still on! Tld 25 is a decent reel, I have a couple of them, but I dont use them when targeting tuna.. a tld25 2speed should do fine on the larger models, just make sure you have a heavy enough rod to put the pressure on the fish. a tld single might have you wishing for a lower gear on the big fish.. See you Sat @3pm.
