Haven't given it much thought on selling these yet. If there was a high demand I may could start....

I love my 209's. They can cast a mile, but every now and then they just backlash down to the dang spool. I have not found a cure for it yet.

I use 4oz of lead to throw mine. Too light and they just don't cast at all.

the braid may be tough to deal with also ... if you're using braid don't ride your thumb on the line itself ... ride your thumb on the spool instead and you can control backlashing a lot better. the reason is because when you get a little fluff when the cast is in process and you ride your thumb on top of the line instead of the spool that actually makes the backlash a little worse because you're making the line flip around the spool instead of correcting the backlash. if you thumb the line it'll make that braid throw a half hitch on the spool and two things will happen quite a bit if you're using a 4oz or heavier sinker ... it'll bury the line down into the spool of line and snap off your terminal gear if you throw hard enough so be sure to always ride the side of your thumb on the edge of the spool instead of on the line. works a lot better like that

Look on the Penn Website at the 209. It's a button on the left side. Hold up your index finger and stick out your thumb. The hand that makes an L is your left.

welcome to the TFF.

Hi Tiny, how are you doing? Haven't heard from you in a while. How is your family doing and that sister of yours that was ill? Any new catfish stories. You always have some good information. Thanks.
