Is it possible to jig bass from the bank? I have a ton of them but most have never even been wet because I have 0 success with this lure. Any tips or techniques would be most appreciated.

I jig for crappie from the bank using a slip float.
not sure if that method works for bass, but maybe worth a try.

throw it out there, let it sit a second, and work it slow, sometimes just dragging the bottm is the best tecnique.

I've caught some nice Bass off of Jigs. I hate using them because I seem to always lose them.

Yeah, spring is the right time to fish for bass with weedless jigs if your fishing from the bank. When fishing from the bank, a jig with a craw trailer produces better than any other time of the year.

Sizes from 1/8th to about 5/16ths oz work the best IMO. Craw trailers work best this time of year. Double tail grubs in the summer.
