I absolutely love throwing Zoom Super and Magnum Flukes! They catch me fish all day long. The only thing is, if it's windy or I'm fishing a little deeper sometimes I like the rate of fall a bit faster to get down in the strike zone quicker or also times when it's hot I like to have more of a reaction strike without giving that lunker a chance to observe/analyze my presentation.
With that said, to date I've tried several approaches of rigging my fluke:
Super Fluke: Gamakatsu 5/0 EWG (works perfect) but sometimes need more weight Gamakatsu 5/0 Swimbait weighted hooked (fits perfect, but sometimes I wan't a different fall- not horizontal) Falcon 5/0 Hook with weight moved up toward nose slightly (works pretty dogon good, but tears up the bait when weight goes through the nose) Produces a more erratic fall like a tube and more nose down.
Magnum Fluke: Gamakatsu EWG 7/0 Monster hook- (fits perfect, but again sometimes wan't more weight to get it down more) Swimbait hook- don't have one big enought to fit it EXCEPT the Owner 7/0 Beast but it seems to tear up the bait so fast.
Need an alternative rigging option or some way I can add a sinker or some weight closer to the nose but on the hook of a 7/0 Monster EWG and 5/0 EWG. I don't like putting the sinker weight or any weight in front of the fluke.
Is there anyone out there that has created a sliding weight or attachable/detachable weight say in 3/16-1/4 oz size that can simply be added to the hook and secured on to change the fall?
I've searched to and far but have not found this? Designers/developers/hook/weight makers? Please make something like this- I will buy it. I like that look of the fluke falling more like an injured baitfish instead of falling horizontally like a swimbait.
Anyone else, please weigh in.

For the 7 hook Mag Fluke rig throw a 1/2 bullet tungsten weight and t-rig it. Putting a 12.2 in the boat the other day with this set-up made me a believer quick.

Owner Slingblades work pretty well - also, you can wrap a few turns of solder around the hook where ever you like.....

Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

Check out the Lunker City Belly Weights ( http://www.basstackledepot.com/lunkercitybellyweights.aspx). Available in different weights and go on the hook after you put it through the head. Can be positioned anywhere on the hook shank.

I have been using the cylindrical drop shot weights in 1/8th & 1/16th oz for years to get my fluke a little deeper a little quicker when fishing shallow. It's real easy to just hang it on the bottom bend in the hook, plus it will allow the fluke to fall horizontally.
If I need to get deeper then I use the heavier Lunker City belly weights.

Sebile has a cool weighting system with the hooks that come with the soft magic swimmer. They have a soft, movable tungsten weight on the hook and you can position it where ever you like

Buy packs of rubber core sinkers in the different sizes. Take the insert out and crimp them onto your hooks. They are perfect for adding weight to swimbaits and spinnerbaits. Inexpensive too.

Yes, the pinch on weights are available, probably at the tackle warehouse, but although I haven't tried it yet I do believe that just T-Rigging with a 1/2 or 3/4 oz weight has been a killer bait at Falcon for two years anyway. I've got some Owner 7/0 EWG hooks...looks like their weight would take the bait down about right.

On the Owner beast hooks buy a pkg of just the large springs, they are bigger than what comes with the hooks and helps hold the bait better.

sebile makes some a new tung. soft weight system ideal for what you are talking about. heres the link on tackle warehouse. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Sebile_Soft_Weight_System/descpage-SSWS.htmlI also use weighted swim bait hooks, they work fine.
