I finally got my Ipilot in the mail and the install was pretty easy. Now I just wish the wind would slow up a bit so I can go test it.

You guys are right about the lean profile as it is a lot less bulkier than the wirelss MG 55 i had on before.

I instled mine, took it out and about half way through the trip one of my batt dies on me!! It was one day over a year old.didnt realize that was the case till the secound trip out. Saturday i had to move my stuff to the new deer lease. Now my sons in the hospital so my fishing is shut down for a few weeks i think mine is cursed.

Not hard to install. Took me about an hour. Love it so far!

I got mine last spring at all star marine, and let me tell ya Im not even sure if my real anchor is still in the boat (of course it is as a back up) I cant find the words to describe how much I love this thing, (sorry honey) If you can afford it and dont have one you should buy one. Maybe they will be on sale a Cabalas in Allen on Thursday??????
