If they are driving a Bass Cat they can't be all bad! At least they have good taste LOL. I was there last month and we towed some talapia fishermen broke down back to their casa! I wouldn't hesitate to go to Falcon and fish the Mexico side. If the Mexico side scares anyone fish Texas. More fish for ME

We have been into the Salinas twice now no issues whats so ever. But I have heard and talked to a couple border patrol agents that have said most "suspicious" activities have been happening up in the river area. Plenty of fish on the Texas side til things settle down lol

I'm from Missouri and am staying in Weslaco. I've been over to Falcon 7 times since the 10th of March and have only run into one situation, (turned out to be nothing), that made me nervous. The only problem encountered is the pain of catching so many 8lbs + bass not one DD "yet". I've been in 7th heaven on this lake. Took the wife Crappie fishing at the bridge and she caught a 3 lb Crappie. We only caught 7 Crappie, but they weighed 11.7lbs. I don't think I've ever limited out at home and had almost 12 lbs of Crappie. This lake is amazing.

If I was in a Ranger I would surely not go in there as there is no way you are going to outrun that BassCat !!

Slow vs. slower? Only thing outrunning the right cat is a bullet, allison, and stroker. And who even runs the latter two.

Something tells me this cat isn't exactly a well kept or nice boat, I doubt it's gonna run very fast.

Seems like to me if the Mexico government in cooperation with the United States really wanted to fix the problem they'd let some Texas bass clubs organize a few tournament, allow them to arm themselves and I think the issue would be resolved rather quickly (might take a couple of weeks). But I believe the concept of fish and shoots has already proven its effectiveness.
