If my lottery numbers ever hit, I'm buying a Lund. I feel safe and comfortable in the Lund. I honestly never expected to be a big proponent of the aluminum boat. I fished with Guy Skinner while he owned his Triton. We fished in some blowing winds on Cedar Creek on it. The next year I fished with Chuck Rollin's for a couple of days. That was an eye opening experience fishing out of his Lund.
A Lund is my dream boat at the moment.
I would definitely think Deep V. I would take Duck Jerky's advice and fish out of whatever boat you might be interested in before making a commitment to purchase be it Lund, Alumacraft or whatever boat is on your radar at the moment.
Good luck in your decision. I'm off to purchase that lottery ticket.

I bought a used older ProCraft (pre Nitro). It's a 17 footer and the driest ride I've ever had, bar none.

Bought a new boat two years ago, I went with Polar Kraft deep v aluminum, If I were the only factor in the boat I would have gone a different route, That being said I could not be happier with this boat, dry ride, for and aft live-wells, quiet extremely efficient 150 yamaha 4 stroke, great soft ride, adequate troll motor, factory set up was outstanding, 4 corner swivel seats and plenty of space, did very little tweeking for fishing set up. Best "all around" boat for family I have ever owned.

I have a Champion Bass Boat and it does fine. Put an Add A Seat on it and it really made it nice upfront.

I love my bluewave CC. No frills no carpet to rot or get dirty. Self bailing deck for the nasty days and will run in about 18" of water. Its very stable in rough water. And I don't have to worry about my kids falling out due to the deep sides. Plus it has grab rails down the sides that make it painless to setup rod holders!
it's the crapy days that make the good days that much better!!!
