Anyone Fished it? Seen 10-20lb Carps pulled out and hook something larger than that! It made my pole n reel look seriously weak. Dunno if it was a Carp or not because i lost it when it got hung up ! Also i am going to be out there next Sunday all day long if anyone wants to join in ?

Fished a big tournament out there years back with 20+ anglers fishing an entire day. Heard claims there were "20's in there."

Almost everyone caught at least one fish...big fish, among 20+ carp anglers....7lbs.

Here's Bret with what was the average fish at Sunshine lake a few years ago:

I was there last weekend and saw a guy pull in a common that looked like could have easily been 10-12lbs possibly more from the dam side of the lake within his first 5 minutes there. Always fun to go out there anyways since that place is always pretty empty and its not hard to find a spot to play around at.

I caught a decent (but not huge) fish that day, I think.

Why did you have to find the smallest fish in the lake to post?

Yeah...you had a 7lb. I was thinking that was big fish, but I actually think big fish was 11lb, that Brian caught.

It's a fun little lake, and good chance to catch a lotta fish. Just don't expect anything huge.
