Are there baits that used to be go-to lures for you, but you just don't use them anymore, perhaps lured away by newer, trendier ones? I was thinking about this recently. I used to absolutely kill 'em on Charlie Brewer's Slider worms and Lunker City Fin-S Fish, but never throw them anymore. Same thing for spinnerbaits, although I'm starting to throw them a bit more again.

I used to think that the only way to fish for bass was with a Texas rigged 7.5" Culprit in tequila shad. I haven't thrown it in years.

Caught some really good fish on those! They don't make them anymore.

Sensation. Herbs Dilly. Fleck Weed Wader. Manns motor oil worm used to be my number one favorite worm.

Interestingly enough, this year I started pulling the old ones that had been left by the wayside and using them again...As they have caught me many fish in years past.

1. Sluggo

2. Twin tail grub

3. Rattlin Rogue
