Has anyone been fishing around South Padre?

Heading down this weekend and looking for some input/suggestions.

Last Saturday we caught about 20 Specks, mostly small on gulp shrimp with a popping cork. Drifted from muddy water to clear. Most Specks were in the clear water about 2 miles behind Civic Center. www.luckylindycharters.com
