Thinking about going to Lavon on Wednesday. Question...where should we launch to get into some good crappie action? Mallard Park and go to RR bridge? Any advice would be helpful, thanks and God bless. Also, have a great week smile

if the wind isnt blowing too hard then mallard wouldnt be my first choice. went out there last week and everyone i talked to didnt catch much. 4-5 fish in a span of about 8 hours.

timber by tickey creek has been producing alright. ive been out there in about 8ft of water in my toon and worked my way in towards the shore to wade jig in about 6-7 inches of water. real light bite but if the wind is like it was today i wouldnt even think about heading out there

I was out by Mallard on Friday, nada. I went by the rocks on 380 and caught two nice ones. I wish I had better news for ya. I am still trying to catch them myself.

I was there Saturday morning and the wind kinda screwed it up by blowing out of the east across all the beds I planned to fish.

I'd say tickey creek. I've been fishing lavon for 20 years and have always had the best luck there. Good fishin.
