I love my Costa Del Mar sunglasses. They have a wide variety of frame shapes and lens choices for all types of fishing.

They have the best customer service in the industry!

Costa del Mar 580 glass lens in green or blue mirror. Google them and you will find some cheaper, but don't expect to steal them.

I went to bass pro shop last Thursday and looked through the sunglass counter and finally told the guy that I couldn't see spending $200 plus on fishing glasses. He walked from behind the counter and walked to the display tree and handed me a pair of $30. glasses. I fished all day Friday in them and love em. I wear Ray Bans around town and have for 30 years and now I have a nice cheap pair of fishing sunglasses that didn't break the bank.

What are the best shades that fit over prescription lenses? They all look so heavy and bulky....

Dwight -

Have you ever thought about a pair of Transition lenses or maybe ask your optometrist about a pair of polarized clips-ons to fit your glasses. Most of the generic "one-size fits all over glasses sunglass" are junk and fine for driving, but with leaning over and looking down, if you don't lose them in the lake, by the end of the day you'll throw them in!

I have tried the clip-on models but they don't cover enough of my eyes. I have tried the Cocoons and they work better than most, just expensive.

I have used Maui Jim and Costa's, but settled in to MJ's, that was 20+ years ago. Now I have prescription MJ's and very pleased. Pretty damn good customer service with some wear and tear issues on bothe regular and prescrition.
