I don't always catch fish, but when I do, I prefer Dos Hybrids

I live less than 3 miles from WRL and have put my tube in a few times this year already.
I always put in underneath the Mockingbird bridge and have kicked my way from the bicycle bridge to way up the creek (north).

I you ever go to WRL you know that police officers are everywhere. I have talked to 2 of them about this exact subject. Both said they never heard about it and didn't see why it would be a problem.
Just be nice to them. I do not know the details of the guy that got ticketed, was he being rude? Dunno?
I had an officer watch me exit 2-3 weeks ago (Mockingbird bridge) and was more interested in my fish/depth finder than anything else. Many have drivin by when I put in, as well. Clearly watching me do it.

I have a friend that walks the lake 3 or 4 times a week and has ran into one guy (TFFer?) out there in a tube multiple times. I think he tubes north of Winfrey Point?

This!
I have searched this and could not find that he even took it there!?

I would never go out of my way to try and get a ticket, but if I do, I WILL take to court. Would have to pay the ticket anyhow? Could probably get out of it and make it clear on the subject.
It's not just about me, but for everyone else, as well.

Tubing on WRC is nice, 'cept for all the trash .... and lots of it! mad You do not even feel like you're in the middle of Dallas.
If nothing else, maybe we could get some local tubers out there with trash bags and have a tubin cleanup day? That would look good for us and the creek/lake.

I guess it is ok to risk putting a tube in, but then again 300$ would be awful! Decisions Decisions......

From whiterocklake.org:

The regulations for boats at White Rock Lake Park are in two categories, powered and non-powered.

Power boat use is limited to boats with small motors of 9.5 horsepower or less. (Please note: violators are quickly reported to 911 and fined by the Dallas Police Department.) Jetskis and large motor boats are not permitted on White Rock Lake.

For non-powered boats, kayaks, canoes, and other human-powered craft, the only regulation is that mandated by the State of Texas, which requires that the number of PFD’s (personal flotation devices) be equal to the number of people on the craft. The United States Government has also recently adopted the age guideline that children under 13 years of age MUST WEAR THE PFD WHILE IN THE BOAT.

Unless you add a motor to your canoe or kayak, these are the major regulations in place at the park.

So is it allowable to put a toob in at WR lake? That is my closest spot to me. I saw yesterday a guy on a YOLO board and the kayak rental is doing pretty well by Mockingbird.

I was driving by WR Lake Sat AM and noticed 2 tubes down by the spillway. Since this is the lake I would be able to hit most often, I'm trying to decide between a yak or tube.
