Guys,

If you are taking a boat offshore, please save this website.

http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=42035

You can click on "Latest NWS Marine Forecast 1" for the 7 day forecast.

The 42035 bouy is about 22 miles East, out in the shipping channel off Galveston.

It will give you the current weather conditions, wave heights, wave steepness, seconds apart. If will even give you the predictions for the bays, and out to 60 Nautical Miles. So please save this info since it can really keep you from getting into trouble when going offshore.

The site below is great for those of us that go out of Port Aransas or through the Packery Channel. It represent a summary report of all the weather sites onshore and offshore that pertains to Corpus Christi area
