I dont think it would be right to post the names of buyers on here for privacy reasons but I would like to ask those of you who have purchased one to chime in and let others know what you think about them. I will say that if there is a unhappy customer out there, I havent heard about it.

I can make them bigger but I can't put a motor mount on one. I can tell "you" how but "I" cant do it for you.

I haven't had mine out yet, but I WILL attest that I don't think you can get anything even remotely comparable for the money. Frankly, I think it's a little underpriced but don't tell rockhopper that.....DOH!

Picked up my kickboat yesterday. Rockhopper a super nice guy with lots of good advice. Rig looks to be very sturdy and I particularly like the seat. Thinking about adding a trolling motor bracket. Looking forward to getting on the water with it and seeing if it will support this ole cooter and keep him comfortable for several hours.

Sorry jackh
for not replying sooner and for not shipping these things.
It's just not feasable to do so at this time. Tried it once and it was more than the cost of the unit. I do travel around fishing and camping and will incorporate delivery into one of those trips occasionally so dont be afraid to ask- I'll help get one to you as best I can but it just doesnt make sense to ship.
To everyone else, if I dont answer your posted question immediately, please email me larry@floatpros.com. I wander around on here sometimes and dont always make it to the float section. Keep those lines tight.
Oh and jackh, we are in Boyd, TX 30 minutes north of Ft. Worth.

I am very interested in one of these, but I would want a longer version, so I could get it registered and put a motor on it. I think also that a place to put your feet up out of the water when using the motor would be a good idea.

Pros & Cons over this model vs a float tube?

I assume you can rig up a fish finder pretty easily on these?

I'm just wondering which is more feasible for using on a lake, moving around, and then staying put to drop anchor.

Hey Scruffy

Pros: No inflation issues. Dont have to have a pump. No worries about heat expansion. Very easy to attach accesaries to. More comfortable and replaceable seat. The best thing is you stay dry and I like the way it manuevers over the float tube (I have a Fish Cat IV).

Cons: It's bulky and will take up most of your truck bed. Foam is NOT bullet proof...You get it on a stump- it's gonna leave a mark. Foam will absorb up to 2% of its volume in water- dont take it in the house right after an outing.

Thanks for your good questions....they are welcome!
