I went to Lewisville today and didn't go up Little Elm Creek where all the spawning fish were. I decided to explore.  I can tell you where they ain't! Not one fish today for me. This was like last Friday at Grapevine. Not one fish. Warmest water today I found was 64-65 degrees up a creek and in the very backs of coves. Mostly 61 anywhere else though. No brushpile fish shallow or deep, no shallow timber, no medium timber, no flats with stick ups. I guess all the fish were up Little Elm Creek today.  Heard about some good stringers up there today. I have lost my Mojo............

That sux. But if I know you, You will be back on em pretty quick. I only caught three today fishing the slips at Cottonwood creek.

thats happend to me several times in March. It's hard to stay on top of them with the weather we've had but my experience has been that spring fishing is pretty much like that. One trip you eat the chicken and the next, you eat the feathers.

thats happend to me several times in March. It's hard to stay on top of them with the weather we've had but my experience has been that spring fishing is pretty much like that. One trip you eat the chicken and the next, you eat the feathers.  I think you may be on to something. Last year life was good. No distractions. This year not so much. I haven't got to go as much therefeore I am behind them. Gotta catch up.
