Well I had a day off and decided to go fishing with our son Trip. Wanted to catch something different so we grabbed some lighter gear for a change and hit the lake. Hit some shallow coves with some Road Runners and scored a few bass and a couple of sandies as well. Made our way back into a small creek and picked up several crappie. Then finished up the trip catching a really nice sun set right when we were loading the boat back on the trailer.

That looks like a clean boat. Did you borrow someone elses boat or have another one that I don't know about?

I did clean the boat out a bit. We filmed a TV show on Wednesday and I thought it would be best clean it up. I think I vacuumed out about 5 lbs of shad scales.

Good memories being made.

Congrats and good luck! We started taking both of our kiddos in the boat when they were about a year old. I started taking them fishing by myself when they were about 2. I take care of cutting bait and casting. They take care of the rest once I get all of the rods in the water. They even net each other's fish. Neither one has a problem smiling for the camera while holding a fish.
