Went out for a while today and stopped by a "secret" spot to see if anything was going on. This was what I was greeted by.

In and around his mob were these two koi.

Also saw several ghost carp and a small mirror that I could not get a picture of. Did not have time to fish.

Cheated..used a UV filter and then I edited the pics using Paint Shop Pro 9. Its a good little system that I got as a freebie when I purchased my Nikon.

The anomaly looks to be a reflection.

Here is another shot of the yellow one.

It was way crowded, as you would expect. If you can swing a weekday, it would be much better. If you can, let me know. I had to look at past photos to make sure the silver and orange koi was not the one I caught last year. It wasn't.

Awesome pictures! Would be fun to fish. Good luck targeting the koi before one of the commons snatches your bait hehe.

Glad you liked them. Thanks. Chad, lets look at Tuesday. PM me with the times you can be there. We can do some old fashioned tight lining.

Sure. But beware, the fishing isn't as easy at it appears. These carp have been hammered and are pretty smart. I have had some great days there followed by blanks. PM will be sent.
