Has any body tried van meter or bobo's crossing south of Boyd just wondering if the sandies have moved up yet???

I drove by and the water looked pretty muddy. Might give it a try in a few more weeks when I pass by it.

where is Bobo crossing? I've heard of it, and I live in Rhome. Has anyone been down there lately?

Well, I actually found both spots today, but only fished Bobo's. They weren't biting this morning, but talked to some folks who were catching a few before that last front blew in.

Went down to Van Meter Yesterday to see if anything was happening. Nothing yet...I did get my cooler stolen out of the back of my truck though. I guess it's my fault for leaving it back there, but it's a shame that it's that way. It does not look like a high crime area down there, but apparently it's remote enough. There were some shady looking guys when I pulled up and they were not fishing. I should have suspected that my cooler needed to be locked up inside the cab before I lost sight of the vehicles. Ugh!
