the plastic tab broke off. does anyone know if only the tab can be ordered instead of the entire switch? seems ridiculous to spend $150 for a new switch.

I think you're looking for the part called a "trim sender cam." The plastic ones that break used to be 3 or 4 dollars. The new metal ones run 15 or so. Just ordered one, the above is from my recent research mostly on bassboat central.

Have been fixing them with a 50 cent hose clamp for years.

no its not the cam. that has already been replaced with the new metal one. this is the plastic arm that attaches to the sending unit that presses against the cam and gives you your reading.

You'll have to buy the switch. Try www.boats.net. It may be 1/2 the price if your quote was from a dealer.

its 130 there too. found a used one on ebay for $25. hope to make a new tab out of metal when it comes in and keep it as a spare.

I had mine break to but the tab broke threw the plastic housing on the switch I now just turn my head and each the water pressure guage
