It's been a couple of weeks since I've been on Granbury. Last time I was there I saw lots of fish floating due to the golden alga problem. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck of late? Maybe up towards the river? I heard a couple days ago that there was still large numbers of fish floating down near the dam.....

Thanks

Most of the golden algae has been pushed past the dam, some are still floating around in isolated areas. Areas where fresh water enters the lake should still be good fishing.

Why would anyone go to Granbury on purpose?I only go because its 2 minutes from the house.I will not fish Granbury again this year.Pat Cleburne,Benbrook,Weatherford and Mineral Wells do not have giant fish but I'd rather catch small ones than no fish at all..
