Ordered some last week and had my first chance to test it out today. Got to say it is one of the best fluros I've used regardless of the price. You can get this stuff for much less than some of the others and it is GREAT. Give it a try when you can.

I got some of the 12lb. test this year and have used about three trips so far and love it! It is just as good as Seaguar at about a third of the price.

i hated the original stuff ill try this... just bought some 100% flouro stren for 9 bucks at acadamy 200 yd spool... we'll see

im tired of stripping off invisex at 20 bucks a spool, i do tie a blood knot and marry lines, but no matter how small that knot is, it still makes a little hump on low profile reels....

does anyone else have this issue that doesnt tie to the spool every time?

Got it from Tacklewarehouse.com.

I've kept it lubricated with conditioner and haven't had a problem with memory.

I might catch quite a bit of flame for this but I have tried many brands of fluoro. BPS, LFT, Seaguar, Stren, Berkeley, Vicious, the list goes on... But I have grown to realize that anything that has memory will show. I mean it's just the fact that reels leave the line stuck tightly to the reel, you can't change that. All fluoros will almost always have the same amount of memory, no matter what tests are done.

That's where a good line conditioner like KVD's comes into play.

kvd +1 ..no chemical smell to run off the fish and its limp... spray it on the night before you go fishing, and see how it does the next day... but we are not talking about reel magic! two different birds... kvd good on line ... no smell, no residue, takes memory out of 100 flouro...

reel magic smells like something that just came from the mechanic.. greese oil etc.

Try a Double Uni-Knot with on "Two" wraps on each end. Smaller knot.

I put a little stip of painters tape over the uni to uni not it helps smooth it out, no hump. Also it you get a backlash it will stop at the tape. Never had any problems doing it this way.

it he

The KVD spray is the best stuff for Fluorocarbons. I haven't tried the Elite Vicious. But, I didn't like the original.
