Today went to a creek that connects EM & Lake Worth. Launched from the Nature Center peddled towards 10 mile bridge. Worked the "blue hole" with no success. Then reached the bridge & saw 4 men eating on the banks with no lines in the water. Just figure they were just banking it. So I went on up the creek passing the house when I noticed the same guys rummaging around the old boats at Vance camp. Still not thinking anything of it. Finally licking my wounds and throwing the towel in I started back to the Nature Center passed by 10 mile bridge and the 4 guys were gone. Still not thinking anything of it. Pushed on and further down the creek I see 3 of the guys in an old wooden boat. They didn't have one before probably got it from Vance camp. 2 was paddling with wooden planks the 3rd was scooping water out of the boat. Just few yards down the 4th guy was just getting out of the water and had one end of the gill net in his hands. I asked if they caught a lot. He said a little bit. I just kept going until they were out of site. Made the call to the local GW Patricia. By the time I got home, had a missed call from Patricia. Called her back and she advised she made contact with 4 guys and if I wanted the fish they caught about 20+ Sandies. I said no just happy she got those gill-netters...thought there was a reward??? lol

Only caught 3 fish. 1 crappie, 1 sandie, and 1 huge channel cat sorry no pics.

Good work! Hopefully the huge ticket I'm sure they got keeps them from breaking the law again in the future.
