well gentlemen and ladies the bar has been raised and we are going to have to really put some bigger fish in the boat if we want to brag about our fishing abilities.
the big e returned early as they had no more room for fish. the tbb trip caught a boat limit of yellowfins and assorted others. the boat also has a pending state record black grouper that was well over a 100lbs.
time to get your monies into too if you are booked on cinco tuna. after this trip the big e will have plenty of people that would like to join us. he who hesitates will be history.....rick

some where in the neighborhood of 130 yellowfins. most were caught on top waters. they stopped at a new floater that was somewhere (30 or 40 miles) from red hawk on saturday night and had an awesome top water bite. the black grouper is some where in the 125lb range.
yellowfins were of the general school size 25 to 90lbs. minnows, rhuehoo, and drshaark had a great trip and were over their limits on yellowfins. i am sure the photo's and reports will follow late tonight and well into the next few days....rick

Steve that was the Texas Bluewater Blowup 06 trip that Willie /TOO organized on 360 TUNA forum. It featured some Top Tunheads from the TTF, 2 Cool, and 360 TUNA boards. Bazz

they filled up the fish boxes and had to come in a little early.... NICE!!! Thats gonna be hard to match!! BUT... I think we will have more of the 100 lb+ class fish caught on our trip. They are out there, and will be ready to bite in little cooler weather. SO ya better have some good drags, and a strong back!
I dont think we can beat those grouper though... MAN!! Those are some TOADS!!! Jerry already has one up on us.. he knows what they were biting and how to present it!! hehe. Those guys and gals made some awesome catches!

Allen I agree.. having caught Big Eye in North Carolina there is No Way that is a Yellow Fin unless it was a Hybrid / Mutant! The weight forward Body, Big Eye, Mouth, and smaller rear Fins just dont add up to a YFT. Jerry Was Flat Out Robbed! Bazz
