I'm interested in any information on snook fishing in the lower laguna madre.I would like to try either brazos santiago pass jetties or kayaking one of the bays off the brownsville ship channel this summer.

Put this post on the texaskayakfisherman.com board you should get a few good replies. Also, there was an article in Texas Fish & Game a few months back about snook in lower laguna. Hope this helps.
