Hairy mouse.

I'm going too try it out this summer on a pretty nice bass tank back home as well as some other creations I have up my sleeve

The bottom is flat but my razor wasnt sharp enough too cut the longer outside ends.
Not bad considering I did it without looking at anything and only using scissors. My razor blade is from utility knife. Anyone wanna let me in on where they get their razor blades??
I only had tan/gray deer hair and some neck hackle and i wanted too tie up something really bad so I threw this together. Next time I have gren stuff burning a hole in my back pocket, I am going too make a much better one as well as a bunch of other flies.
Or maybe I should consider a better camera rolleyes

The brand I use from Walmart is "Persona". You don't want utility blades, you want "safety razor" blades made to shave with.

They look like this:

I put the safety part in quotes because they are dangerously sharp and they have two edges. I usually break them in half down the long axis to make them slightly safer and have two separate cutting tools. I can't stress enough that these things will cut you before you even know you're cut. They are scary, scary sharp.

Thanks! I'll look into that! I have the same kind but they are a pack I found in my garage at home that were from like the 70's haha so they are really thick.

You'll know you have the right ones when they're very thin. The nice part of them being thin is that they're flexible and allow you to use them to form curved shapes more easily.

Thank ye sir. I really like it and i did the tub test which worked well. I think adding a chenile or leather tail and some black eyes will dress her up pretty well. Now i just gotta do the bass test.

A furled ultra chenile tail should work well.

I'm flattered and impressed. I'll be curious to know if your rabbit strips foul on the hook.

That Furburger is AWESOME! I keep looking for a fluke substitute and that might just be it, especially if you weighted the hookbend. Is that craft fur and bucktail?

I've got to get off my butt and tie up some Spooky Shads. It's one of those patterns I never seem to get around to lashing.

Great work all around.

For the love of someone's God, please be careful googling for a pattern on the Fur Burger!

That is all.
