Has anyone had any luck lately at either of these lakes or are they as dead as every central Texas lake?

They are as dead as every Central Texas Lake. We fished hard (Myself, my wife and son) for 5 hours last Saturday for 1 keeper crappie, 2 undersized crappie, and one undersized channel cat at Granger. Georgetown Lake is also slow for whites up by Tejas park because of low water flow.

I don't know about Travis since I rarely fish there.....

the steps have been slow also, not much water flow and the water is dropping..... we need rain. One good rain will get everything poppin'. Too bad it's not in the forecast.

Don't waste your time at Granger or Travis. Make the short drive to Bastrop. You won't be disappointed. Flukes, swimbaits, chatterbaits over the grass, and pop-r's in the morning produced 8 fish over 4lbs for my dad and I.
