Anybody got any suggestions? How about the BPS "Hump"? I am looking to add another 7' rod and that's about where my budget is.

You might take a look at Acadia Rods www.acadiasports.com They have a good 7' MH rod buy one get one free. They come with a lifetime warranty and they are true to their word on the warranty. I have several of their rods and they are good quality.

You might take a look at the falcon HD rods or the H2O rods by academy. I have both and like them alot and they are in your price range.

the h20 rods are getting pretty high reviews although i havent held one.the vendettas are a bit heavy IMO. if you go abu i would throw an extra 20 in and get a veritas...the difference between the veritas and vendetta is polar. you wont regret dropping the extra few dollars.and besides,were fisherman we always spend more than planned

I needed an extra 7 ft. H rod for a trip to Falcon I took recently and I bought a Castaway from Academy. I was VERY impressed with the quality, action and balance of that rod. I believe it was only $60 or something like that - and I normally fish IMX Loomis rods.
