Needless to say the Metro West Teams Series is in the tank with only 5 boats at Eagle Mountain showing up for the opener and none of those joining us at Ray Roberts this last Sunday and 4 events left we are going to impliment some changes and hope to salvage this trail. By competing in at least four J C Outdoors events anglers will be able to qualify for the 2011 Spring Teams Championship on Lake Texoma with a $10,000 guaranteed first place.

Angler of The Year will be determined by the best 4 points totals for each team. Angler of the year receives free entry into the spring teams championship for 2011. Teams 2-6 in the points race receive half price entry into the 2011 championship.

Entry Options: Two entry levels for those who want to compete, all entries paying back 1 in 5:

Option 1: $130 team entry with 85% payback. $10 BB Option

Option 2: $200 team entry with 85% payback on the $130 portion of the entry and 90% payback on the remaining $70 entry. $10 BB Option "Only the Teams Who Participate in the Additional $70 portion of the $200 entry will be included in the payout of this portion. If 4 or less enter this portion of the entry the $70 will be returned to each team in full.

The remaining dates are:

April 3, 2011 Start Time after morning registration beginning at 5:20 am and live well check anglers may leave the Public Ray Roberts boat ramp of your choice at 6:50 am all fishing must cease at 3:30 pm and you must be chip checked back at the Jordan Park boat ramp no later than 4:00pm.

May 22, 2011 Start Time after morning registration beginning at 4:30am and live well check anglers may leave the Public Ray Roberts boat ramp of your choice at 6:00 am all fishing must cease at 3:30 pm and you must be chip checked back at the Jordan Park boat ramp no later than 4:00pm.

June 5, 2011 Start Time after morning registration beginning at 4:30 am and live well check anglers may leave the Public Ray Roberts boat ramp of your choice at 5:50 am all fishing must cease at 3:30 pm and you must be chip checked back at the Jordan Park boat ramp no later than 4:00pm.

June 26, 2011 Start Time after morning registration and live well check anglers may leave the Public Ray Roberts boat ramp of your choice at 5:50 am all fishing must cease at 3:30 pm and you must be chip checked back at the Jordan Park boat ramp no later than 4:00pm.

In our five years of hosting Spring Trails we have never cancelled an event but have implemented changes, we hope you understand our need to do so at this time.

This event has no off limits restrictions for pre fishing.
This will be a trailering event after morning registration and boat check you may proceed to the Ray Roberts public boat ramp of your choice and launch but must remain at that ramp until official start time liisted above for each event, at which time you may begin fishing or proceed to your first fishing destination. You may fish up until 3:30pm at which time all fishing must cease, you will have until 4:00pm to be chip checked back in with us at the Jordan Park boat ramp.

Wave the membership fee. You would get a lot better tournout.

I agree but that woudltn be very fair to the anglers who have already paid.

As stated by Baylor Bass Guy that would be very unfair to those who have paid their memberships. By fishing these four Ray Roberts events you will automatically qualify for the 2 day Lake Texoma Championship on September 10-11, 2011. This event will have a $10,000 guaranteed first place regardless of entries.
