whipAnyone been on Holbrook lately? What is cooking on this small lake? Tourney on the 9th and looking for some advice. It has been a couple of years since I've been there and looking forward to going again. Nice bass out there and just looking for a little help. boxing

I used to do quite well out there when I was younger (20 yrs ago..). I have thought about going back several times but just haven't. Any reason not to?

I've seen 20#+ bags taken from the lake a couple of years back and have taken out limits on this fine lake

Old Rookie, it's funny you asked such a question. Fished the lake on the 19th in a little church tournament with 7 Boats. We won the tournament. Nothing great, but we weighed a five fish limit, plus one fish for the Big Bass Pot as per the tournament rules. Anyway caught about 25 fish from 6:45AM - 3:00PM. All but 5 were caught on Shakey Heads in about 2 - 6 ft. of water. We only lost sight of the south boat ramp once all day. The other 5 were bed fish. We weighed 5 fish for 11.56# and the big fish was 4.10#. My cousin and his partner took 2nd with 5 fish that weighed 10.87# and third was 10.79#. Couusin caught the majority of his wacky worming the midlake area and third was on plastics on the north end. Another note, fish any tree with limbs submerged, you might get a pleasant suprise. My partner and I found a submerged tree and in 4 cast broke off 2 fish, I caught a 15" keeper and he had a keeper come undone.

Good luck and have fun.
