What are you fishing for Greg?

Have you been there before?

I got my wife hooked on fishing by using corn for carp there, we have caught them at most of the parks there, just throw some corn out for chum and you can use a small one (carp) for cut bait for catfish.

Good luck.

Love Park is probably your best park for fishing. No trees there though so you're in the sun all the time. Wind mostly blows out of the S/SW. Closer you bank to the intake the better. Let me know when you're going and I might be able to take you out on my little boat. Hi-View has a good point on it with a good cat possibility + the Marina is there so if you need anything it's right there. Waxahachie Creek is probably the best park for campers, shade trees, ect...Lots of good eaters can be caught off any of the banks with a good stink bait, like Danny Kings or Sure Shot.

The wife and I love Waxahachie Creek Park,
Lots of trees, close to the water so you can bank fish while your at the campfire.

Love that park, one of our fav's and its where we camp most.
