I have an American Rodsmith Corky Special 7'6" rod. This rod to me is not very sensative. I tried to e-mail the factory about suggestions but I have recieved no response. Does any one have any suggestion on a good all round bait casting rod (around $100-150). I have a Shimano Curado 200BSF I would like to put on it. I have fished with Allstar rods and like them, but looking to try something new. I also like Fenwick. Thanks in advance fishoholic

_Hey Fish: Get you a 7'6" Custom from Mary Lou at www.CrossTimbersCustomRods.com with a 10" Split Handle. She can make you one well within your price range that will meet your needs. _I have 6 and she's about to complete my AJ Buster heavy offshore special. Tell her you want one like "Bob's Big Stick" _Plastics and Plug Launching Machines! _ Good Luck and Happy 4th Weekend Yall! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Bazztex<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

I know you want to try something other than Allstar but ck out the Allstar #cc-pcs 7'. this is assuming you are looking for an inshore rod. Rod lists @ $89.95 and can be had @ BPS. -B

Check out the Lone Star Supreme Series by Texas Tackle Factory. I have two of the Trout Tamers, and love them for light plastics.
I have one set up with a Shimano Scorpion and one set up with a Chronarch.
I can't say enough about how much I like them.

The texas tackle factory rods are nice. I have a medium light that handles big reds like a champ. i didnt expect it to be as good as it is but it deff. gets the job done. The rods are well made and have the measurements built into the rod. Good luck on your selection
