I was driving over there yesterday to fish and I saw a sign that said that Little Elm City Council is going to hold a meeting to talk about a proposed entrance fee charge for Little Elm Park.

Just thought I'd let ya'll know in case you fish there often like I do. Maybe if we get enough people, we could get them to reject the proposal. Just a thought.

As long as it isn't $10 like the other ramps... But still, it was sure fun while it lasted.

There has been talk of charging fees for some time. I plan on attending to here the details first hand.

You have a voice, let it be heard. If citizen input/public comment is part of the meeting, speak your mind.

never undersestimate the municipal power of generating revenue. If you guys over there would just get more speeding tickets, this wouldn't be happening!!

Thanks reelin-em-in. I saw the sign as well but couldn't read the whole thing. Let me know if you want to go catch some fish this week. The sandies have slowed a little but with the cold but the new boat will keep u dry this time at least. we have been tearing up the lmb lately.

Tough economy right now. Cities have to make money where they can to survive.

So if they do start charging to get in the park I guess I'll have to purchase an annual pass. I did hear the property for the ramp was donated to the city and one of the terms was they couldn't charge for boat launching, I may be wrong.

Sounds like fees are coming. The city and corp still have to approve everything.

So what happened at the meeting last night. I was unable to make it. I sure hope they left it as a free ramp. I don't know all the details but us poor folks sure do like free access to the lake.
