In-Laws have a place on the lake that I am going to start spending alot of time at. Would love to get out on the lake and learn it. I know this lake has to have some good fish in it.

Been a salt water guy all my life, kinda new to the bass world. Might even do some crappie fishing cuz I know this lake can be hot.

Anyone willing to give up a little advise to a newbie?

It used to be a great lake but havent fished there in forever, my grandparents used to live on the lake and my Dad at one time had the lake record out there.

Unbelievable dock lake! I fish the workin man's tourney every thursday night 6:30-10 in the summer. It's my favorite lake. Most people shy away from tourney's because of the 14-21" slot, but there are plenty of overs to be caught. Last summer it almost always took an over an some unders to win the tourney. Lots of brush and some floating vegetation in areas. Make sure to follow the boat lanes because there are several stumps (even more considering the lake is about 3 ft low).
