I had a great day and thought I would share. My old fishing partner is now traveling with Trevor Brazile, PRCA all time money winner. He rarely fishes anymore because of their rodeo schedule. The last last time he fished was 6 months ago with me and we caught 40 fish. I felt a little pressure to put him on some fish. We started out at 5 pm and fished til sundown. We caught 25 or so with 5 good spotted bass and several keepers mixed in. We started out bed fishing and our best bed fish was about 4 lbs. We switched up and started fishing transition areas and it was a good move. Our first point produced 4 fish with one over 23". We fished 5' to 10' ledges with rock piles on points with cranks. After fishing we came in for T-bones, thanks to Mrs. Gitthanet. While eating he got a call from none other than Roy Cooper, 8 time world champion, and the first to top $2,000,000 in Rodeo. Ol Super Looper was needing steers and was telling my buddy how he was thinking about coming out of retirement. I listened in on speaker phone to hear Roy say he was "coming straight off the bench". It was very cool to hear one of my rodeo heroes talking about coming out of retirement. Here is a pic of our big girl, Chad is wearing Trevor's new line of clothes "Relentless". He is working on outdoor apperal and camo next. These are all of the same fish

Bass fishing is like a 30,000 acre golf course with no flags and five holes you can't see- Tim

I rodeoed in the 80's (rode bulls). Roy Cooper is definately a legend in the sport and has sons competing now so I know he is engaged in what happening. He has ooodles of talent and knows what it takes to win no doubt, but he better eat his Wheaties to compete with the young guns going down the road now. I feel old and I remember watching him compete when I was in jr. high. Granted I was from the other end of the arena and timed eventers definately have more longevity. I'll definately be pulling for him though. Go Super Looper.
Nice fish by the way.
