Just not getting any love from the banks at Benbrook. Are the cats still somewhat shallow at wind blown banks or are they further out now? Could use a little help... man..it's tough on this lake for banking kittys. 
Recent Notables: 40lb Flathead, 30lb Carp, 25lb Buffalo.

Met up with DCM there sunday, Not a bite. We were banking it by the creek side where the timber is. right there by the boat ramp. Didn't catch jack. Probably going to have to try Lavon for banking it pretty soon. Usually do good there from the bank...

i boat it and its hit or miss, whenever i do bank it i go to the BB marina off 377 ($5 a person to fish off marina). there is a marina off rocky creek, but i never fished off it, i launch my boat at rocky creek and have fished from boat but have never really caught anything in rocky creek.

My buddy and I blanked when we went last week on Wednesday. Five hours with nothing. We went to Rocky Creek first and there were about 4-5 other guys cat banking it. Before we got there one had gotten about a 3 lb. Channel but that was it.
It looked like some guys were catching Crappie off of the Rocky Creek Marina dock.
After my buddy left I went to Mustang Park along the creek and saw a guy pull in about a .5 lb. Channel but again that was it.
Spent about an hour there and all I got was yellowjacket sting on my knee.
Chief Wiggum: This is Papa Bear. Put out an APB for a male suspect, driving a... car of some sort, heading in the direction of, uh, you know, that place that sells chili. Suspect is hatless. Repeat, hatless.

Yah, i hate to go there now. I told DCM my boat will never touch that lakes water again last time we were skunked. I think thats the lake DCM got his name from...Just missing Kevin, But seriously, was it...

I know how y'all feel. I've fished Lavon, I've fished L'ville, all the good lakes around the north areas, and for some reason I just can't get on 'em. I've put a few eaters in the box, but I must have some sort of funk that the fish don't like. I've gone out there with some of the wisest owls around, but when I step foot on their boats, the fish exit stage left...

The guy at redneck bait shop by rocky creek catches alot of cats, he always has pics of 30+ that he catches jug lining.
