In Yall's most learned opinion, what is the best web site for weather information for galveston bays and near offshore? I need to get the best forcast I can for 2 or three days in advance. I am highly aware that things change faster than a lot of fisherman change lure colors , but just to get a general idea. Is there a web site I can pull up to "Hear" the forcast in real time for that area????? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dusty
I told my "X" she was fat...she said she was "big boned", told her I had never seen a fat skeleton...hence..my "X". Now, I fish, therefore I eat.

Got that, it is just that there are thousands of them (NOAA sites). Wanting to get an idea of Galveston area or just click and get info on any TExas area. I know there are radio channels you can tune in to in the local area and get the recording as well, can you do this with a computer from a distance???? I tune in to different favorite radio shows all over the U.S. Just need the call sign. Dusty

Good Mornin', centerdriver! Try this: www.noaa.gov/wx.html Click on "weather" on the left sidebar...then enter "Galveston" & select. It will take you to the R I D G E site where you can get very detailed info. Good luck!

Find the number for the galveston yacht basin on the net and give the bait store there at the ramp a call. They should know where to look.

Have checked all of these out and just wanted to say thanks again. Saved a few to favorites and now have links to count on for up to date info. 'Preciate it! Dusty
