Im not sure if this is the correct place to ask this so please forgive in advance. Im thinking about taking a camping trip and some fishing on the lake. My question is how well can you run the lake, is it like caddo or fork? and is the state park well kept? thank you so much for your time

Yes the park is well kept and it's not like Caddo or Fork. There are no marked boat lanes, but you can see 99% of what you need to worry about right now with the lake down.

Ragan's about 5 minutes up the road from state park, has a dozen or so mobile homes and small trailers they rent out. Price is very reasonable.
Sandlin is a cool lake..

We are going in May to Sandlin to camp as well, please let me know how your trip goes as far as the camping.
