Looks to me like he made it out of a dowel, but if you wanted to buy one, they have lazy-susan style rotating flash racks at feather-craft.com and I think Cabela's. I'm sure several places.

BassnFly I made the desk and the 2 shelves in the back. The flash holder is an oak dowel i ran through the top of the shelf.

I used to use one of these told hold my stuff and it worked great: http://www.amazon.com/Simply-Renee-Rotat...8662&sr=8-2

I love that storage holder, but it is pricey. I cannot leave out any Krystal Flash or stuff like that. The cat got a hold of one left out. She made a little ball out of it, it could not be saved. Now I have to remember to NEVER leave it out, or anything like that.

Here's my Tying Room:

These pics were taken about four years ago, as I was moving in. It now has much more stuff and clutter, but the basics haven't changed.

Those are all fly fishing books, Kelly. Last count, I had about 190 fly tying books and maybe 500 other fly fishing books. They keep me well-informed and answer many tying questions.

Oh my goodness, I would be in heaven with all those tying books. But I have no where to put a bunch more books right now. Once one of my kids moves out, I'm taking over their room though...lol.

Good plan. When we moved to Dallas, I had to take three rooms of stuff and shove it into one bedroom. I wish I had more space to spread out.
