Going to Amistad in two weeks, from Thursday to Sunday, any suggestions on where to stay, this is our first trip down there, any help will be appreciated.

+4 on Anglers. Might try the cabins at Southwinds Marina. They are $35 a night. I think you go to the website for the Air Force Base in Del Rio to get reservation info. Also might try the Amistad Resort. Wouldn't recommend Lakeview.

Also might try River Street Lodging, nice folks and good accomidations, 35.00 a night per person with covered parking for boats and clean place Tom and Nancy 830-734-3248
