Hey guys taking a trip up to Northern or Central Arkansas for vacation. Im looking for a place were the bass fishing is good and the water is flowing! I've looked around at the Buffalo River, Ouachita River, Big Piney Creek and some others. Any other river recomendations would be AWESOME!! We'll be there in early june and are looking for good cabin rentals also.

White River in Mountain View, Arkansas has some great trout fishing. Check out "Jacks Resort"

If you want bass fishing and trout fishing check out Fairfield Bay or Tannebaum resort. They have really nice cabin that you can rent. Bass fish on Greers Ferry or trout fish the Little Red River.

Mulberry and kings are excellent and similar to what you have mentioned, ouachitau isn't bad either a little further south. Big piney is nice as well.

Btw, the buff is beautiful but unless you're into 500+ canoes a day coming down the water you're trying to fish, I wouldn't recommend it.

No doubt white river. We use to go up there as kids a lot and it was by far the best trout fishing. Plus you can stop I'm flippin, AR and take a tour of the ranger factory and see how they build their boats!

The White River is good and I've heard pretty good things about Gaston's Resort. My uncle has a lake house on Greer's Ferry and I've fished the Little Red River several times. For me, it's been much, much better.

Greers Ferry lake is about as good as it gets vs. bull shoals. Not very amny places to stay. do a search for motels.

Great fishery. Smallmouth are fantastic.
