I am looking for a little help on how to fish Hubbard creek. I fish this lake alot but cant seem to figure out what to do. I fish slot of the salt cedars but that rarely produces for me and I have also fished the rocks with a steep drop but aging cant seem to get them. What lures, depths and cover does it take to find fish on this lake?

Yea right most of these guys seem like good people but I don't think they would help thier own child when it come's to sharing information about how to or where to catch quality fish this will probably offend some people but maybe thier there the ones that need a mirror

It's fishing even if somebody tells you how they are catching fish 99% of the time they are lying I promise I do it , I don't want somebody going out and sore-lipping the fish I worked hard to find .... I'm just sayin

I hate the salt cedars. There are just too many of them to effectively cover water. Use your graph and locate underwater structure. Creek channel bends, grass, etc. Worked well for us in our tournament weekend before last. Never even looked at the salt cedars.

@ kickerfish I understand what your saying and I'm definitely not asking for anybody to give up any specific locations. I am simply asking for general tips for a place to start at and learn from there.

@ redraider thank you for the help it is greatly appreciated and good to know there are a few guy who don't mind giving a little info. Thanks again

Salt cedars ON structure or near structure can be productive, but it's definitely a structure oriented lake IMO.

This time of year you need to be looking at the flats along creek channels and near points. Look for grass in ~7FOW, and theres some more in 10-15FOW.

We have had a 9 and 4 fish over six in the last couple of weeks working salt cedars on Structure in 4-7 fow. 3 of the big fish have come from the same patch of Saltcedar in a Chanell bend.
The Bucks are packing into the brush right now and the big girls are moving in too.
