Ok me an my little brother have started to fish these to lake about a month and a half ago. We go to cally more, and seem to have the cats down halfway decent. Trying to move on to some of the striper and redfish action, so if you have any pointers on these lakes any info is greatly appreciated. I here the current at intake and discharge at braunig can produce good fish prolly gona give that a try. Not sure where to look at cally but im assuming the same as braunig. Any info such as depth, temp, baits, etc. is greatly appreciated, and by the way we are catch and release dont favor the fish out of the lakes much so just looking for the action. So lets hear all the honey holes lol just kidding. Thank you in advance for any help it is truly appreciated and may god bless you. Tight lines. Any reports are greatly apprciated as well.

We have been killing the reds near the Wall with traps and cranks. There is a grass line to the right hand side(if your facing the wall) that we work but it does take some patience?

Cool, thanks man gona have to give that a try. We went to braunig and they were not pumping much but on small discharche next to wooden pier we threw into current. Hard to not get snagged on bottom but chicken livers were working. Caught 1 but missed many, first time fishing hybrids so was a learning process. Shad dead or alive wasn't working, but I Carolina rigged one just like you would a worm, and hooked it through the lips. Fished it with a medium retrieve with a little jigging to make it stand out. Got many hits and hook ups but hung them up on the rocks. Need to go and try it again it was fun. Thank you guys for any info recieved on here.

That's cool jguero...This was today? Was it packed? I hit them up yesterday and they were hitting live and dead shad, as well as chicken liver.
