Went to local Wally World tonight to pick up a 12 volt light. While there I cruised thru the fishing section to see if they had anything on clearance. Noticed they had two Vicious fishing displays. One dedicated to panfish with everything costing $1. The other was for bass fishing and everything was priced $1.96. Not a huge selection but they did have split shot, jig heads, maribou jigs,tube jigs, hooks and fishing line. I grab some split shot and a few tinsel jigs. I'm sure it's made in China but the price was certainly right.

I picked up some of the tube jigs for crappie, used 1 tube on 18 crappie and it is still going, yes they are made in China but heck, 1 buck for 12 tubes i cannot complain.

Tworod, you know darn good and well that you can't catch fish on Walmart products. Anyway, I got you beat...I caught 2 crappie on a ****y T*p tube the other day before it was tore up! You must not catch aggressive crappie! How do those non-aggressive crappie taste? LOL

I have a zillion of the black/chart hard tubes from Wallyworld. Great little plastic jig. Buy a pack every time I am in there it seems. It's my go to jig after my Jigum white/chart/orange, red/red/chart and black/black/chart Jig.

Yep.. Rockwall too, of course I think all wm's have the same stock, but I grabbed a few $1 items. Passed on the solid body tubes cus I jist don't use that many of the crinkle skirt style, but if they had some stinger tails on em I'd be all over em. Did grab a few heads n such. Any opinions on their line's for jig fishing? I've been using suffix camo for a while, but I know a lot of bass guys love vicious

I saw the display and picked up a few different jigs the other day. Then sunday I tried them out at my uncles fish pond. I set up a double jig under a bobber . The jig head was orange and pink, and I put on solid body deep neon looking blue jigs with the white skirt. Man I tore em up. I found me a sweet spot where I almost caught a crappie every toss. Caught at least 40 + keeper size. ...and yes...they were all caught on the same two jigs.

The Viscious product displays are at both Walmarts stores in Denton.

They have been up for the past couple of weeks. The solid body tubes are richly colored. The baits appear to be a little more compact compared to the standard packed solid bodied tubes produced for Walmart which typically hang on the gondolas by the other crappie lures. In addition, take a look at the tentacles compared to the normal product. The tentacles appear to be a little more streamlined.

I'd buy some at a $1 since the standard crappie catchin' colors are on the display, except I have loads and loads of hand-tied and plastics already onhand.
