 Contour line intervals LMS 522c ?????

Is there a way to change the contour line intervals on my LMS 522c. I am not using any chip because as far as I know the HotMaps chip will not show any creek channel details in my home lake (Lake Hartwell). Is there any way to get all the detail that the Lowrance mode offers over the HotMaps with smaller increments for the depth contours. My HotMaps is the E5 version which has creek and river channels removed from it which is about as lame as can be in my opinon. I was told I would have to go all the way back to E2 to get the channels.
