I have bought one veritas for my sons birthday.
It is stiff as broom stick. It is a light ans sensitive pool cue.
One you build and fish with your own hand built custom rod you will fish with nothing else!

I have one of each. I like the Falcon Lowriders and think they are worth the extra money. I got them at the rod riot for 100 bucks.

I'm trying to make the same decision right now... if the Vendetta had that exposed blank in front of the trigger like the Veritas does, there'd be no question, I'd get the Vendetta... I don't know how much of a difference it makes, but I think you oughta be able to get a little more feel out of the rod without that plastic between your finger and the blank. That one little bit is the only thing holding up my decision. That, and the Veritas looks like a saltwater rod... LOL
Purely for looks sake, not performance, the newer Revo SX (red/black) paired with the Vendetta is SUH-WEET!

Thanks for the info folks...sounds like the Veritas has some breaking issues from what I have read on here. I have never had a rod break and I have rods ranging from $30 up to $150. That makes me a little weary.

Any rod can break....in that price range I would suggest you also consider the Falcon Bucoo.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

I have the 7'6 vendetta heavy, the veritas in 7'6 med heavy and 7'3 medium heavy. The veritas are lighter I really like them. The only gripe that I have is that both the veritas are in 2 pieces in my garage. broke the second yesterday flipping a 2.5 pounder in the boat. I kind of got carried away with the price point but now if I buy another I will be at $300 worth of veritas and I could be in a dobyns or loomis with a real warranty.

And to your original question I prefer the 7'6 to the 7'3. In medium heavy the 7'3 felt(since it is broke now) much stiffer that the 7'6 did(since it is broke now to). the 7'6 handled lighter baits better.

I have two 7 mh veritas rods, and one 7 mh vendetta as well as 6''6 med vendetta
I have caught fish as big as 21 lbs on all of them and have yet to break a rod. I prefer the veritas rods for jig or worm fishing as more of the rod is exposed at the grip and the vendetta for fishing cranks and other moving lures. I dont know what all this talk about breaking is i have never had a single problem with any of my garcia rods
