Took a trip to RR today and went into Buck Creek.
Water temperature in the main creek was 64 in AM and 66 in PM.
I did find a place that hit 69 way back in the shallows.
Caught 6 keepers and they were all males. Each one was caught real tight to a stump in about 2 feet of water. Also caught a couple of male bass about 12 to 13 inches real tight to stumps. I did not see any on beds yet. So, looks like the males are starting to move in and hopefully will be making beds for those fat mama's to be.
Had kind of a weird experience when I went to dock to go home. Got about 100 yards from the dock and the place was loaded with police and 2 scuba divers were out in the lake. Got waved off and was not allowed to dock. Finally they pulled a truck out of the water. When I finally got to shore I found out it was a truck someone stole in 2009. Guess they stole it and went for a joy ride then ditched it in the lake.
BTW, the guy who found it, found it with his new SI sonar unit and called the local police and told them there was a boat in the lake near the dock.

There's an idea. Instead of building condos and/or setting out brushpiles, just drive your truck into the water. Lol
