I have been looking at everything online that I can find.

It looks like April is a good time to go. Sails, marlin, tuna, and dolphin.

Anyone been? Suggestions on a charter?

Thanks.

Lots of boats out of Puerto Adventuras. Just a short ride south.

Hey Moose, it all depends on what you want to spend and what type of fishing you're interested in doing. It can range from going with Kianah's Sport Fishing on some larger boats with a mixed group of fishermen http://www.deepseafishingcancun.com/boat.htm

or
something smaller and more private like a 25' panga boat where it's only you and you get to do what you want to do. The guide is Roberto Navarro. Let me know if you want his email, I have it at home.

I have not fished with Kianah but hear good things about them and I know the panga guide I use would recommend them if you want a bigger boat.

FYI, Kianah is out of Cancun proper and Roberto is out of Playa del Carmen if that matters.

Here is a link to my trip in Apr 2010 and Feb 2011:

Any suggestions out of Isla Mujeres? I will be there in a few weeks, and there's no sense taking the ferry round trip when the fishing trip is going to go past the island.

thanks,
John

I would call Kianah and ask them. They hooked me up with Roberto when I told them I wanted to jig and pop. I trust them so far.
